I watched the Academy of Country Music Awards last night. The first hour was opposite the finale of American Idol. I found it ironic that last year Carrie Underwood won American Idol, and this year on a show competing for ratings with this year's finale, she performed a song and won two awards on the country awards show. What a fantastic year she had.
